DOVENET participated in the facilitation skills training organized by MCGL and facilitated by the Senior Capacity Development Specialist, Mr. Prince Idiong and the State Team Lead MCGL, Mrs. Nneka Chijioke-Dikeocha between 29th – 30th March 2023 at Geneza Hotels Abakaliki.
The participants were taught how to prepare for a training, effective communication skills, differences between a facilitator and a teacher, different types of learners and why it is important to identify the learning method that works for members of the audience, amongst others.
The workshop was very participatory, with group discussions, role plays and simulations, and energizers to keep the participants active.
The participants left the training equipped with good facilitation and presentation skills that would improve the way they impart skills and knowledge.
