At the just concluded Team Building event organized by the MOMENTUM Country and Global Leadership Project, DOVENET received an award of recognition as the best performing indigenous partner on the MCGL Project.
Under the MCGL Project, DOVENET has been at the forefront of the fight against Gender-based violence, intimate partner violence, sexual violence and Child early and forced marriage. DOVENET has also engaged in norms-shifting activities, attacking the problem of Gender-based violence from all angles.
The MCGL Project uses a facility-based approach and based on this, DOVENET has interacted and formed relationships with several health facilities across her LGAs of implementation, building their capacities on reporting and documentation of GBV through trainings, data-driven learning activities, Quality Improvement meetings, all in a bid to reduce GBV in the state to the barest minimum.
A colorful feather has been added to DOVENET’s cap.
Thank you MCGL! Thank you USAID!
