State2State- an USAID-funded project in Nigeria organized a 3-day capacity building workshop to train CSOs on the powers and functions of the Bureau of Public Procurement and the principles and relevant laws guiding procurement processes and monitoring in Nigeria.
The objective of the capacity building training was to equip participants (CSOs) with the necessary audit knowledge, skills, and techniques required for effective public procurement monitoring.
In general, the workshop had in attendance, the State2State team, 5 officials of the Center for Social Justice (CSJ), the executive director, Ebonyi State Bureau of Public Procurement and 40 CSOs including DOVENET.
